When you create an account we store your email address (or the private relay address Apple gives us) and, if you use Sign in with Apple, the name Apple shares. We assign you a user ID.
When you use the app we store the data you enter so it can sync across your devices: expenses, income, categories, budgets, goals, recurring items, and shared groups (group names, members’ display names, amounts and notes you add to a group).
Receipt photos you take stay on your iPhone and are not uploaded.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If you email us, we keep your message to reply and improve our apps.
Only to run Xpense: to sign you in, show your data, sync it between your devices, split costs with people you invite, and send reminders you switch on. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Your personal data is visible only to you. Data you add to a shared group is visible to that group’s members. Our database and sign-in are provided by Supabase, which stores the data on our behalf.
We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account.
Xpense is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
